Tuesday, Feb. 9 marked the end of the PVIAC alpine skiing season, as the 15 boys teams and 14 girls teams sent their top skiers for the PVIAC alpine Individual Championship. Each skier competed in the slalom and giant slalom races, with their best combined times in each run adding up for a total time. The boy and girl with the lowest combined time was named the 2016 PVIAC alpine skiing individual champion. Ludlow had a great showing under first year head coach MIchelle Annecchiarico. She was proud to share, “The top three finishers for Ludlow were Tom Peluso – 42nd, Zack Douville – 60th, and Patrick Kelliher – 64th. It was a great season for all racers.”Special thanks to all the parents who helped make the event memorable for all our athletes.
