Congratulations to our Ludlow High athletes who competed at the MIAA State Championships this past weekend.

Wrestling D1 State Championship

On Saturday, Feb 16th Senior KJ Sotomayor finished his LHS career with a 7th place finish in the 113 lb weight class.

Swimming D2 State Championship

On Sunday, Feb 17th our boys swim team traveled to BU to compete in the MIAA D2 State Championships.

The 200 individual medley relay team of Aaron Turgeon, Adam Wehner, Luke Page and Tommy Pearson set a new school record finishing in 10th place in a field of 30 teams.

Aaron Turgeon continued his school record-setting pace with a 6th place finish in the 1oo free.

Indoor Track D4 State Championship 

Ludlow traveled to the Reggie Lews Center on Sunday, February 17th to compete in the D4 state championships.  Ludlow had a number of great performances. Kendyl Vermette placed 10th in the 2mile, Jocelyn Trajkovski placed 11th in the 55-meter dash and Anthony Vieira placed 26th in the 55-meter hurdles.  Chantz McLean placed 2nd with a personal best of 46’9 1/2″ in the shot put. Chantz will now compete this weekend at the All-State Championship.
