The fall season has come to an end and despite the many challenges, LHS Athletics made it. LHS Athletics would like to thank everyone who made this fall season a success. Thank you to the Ludlow Public Schools School Committee for giving our student/athletes an opportunity to compete and for having confidence in our athletic department and its protocols. Thank you to Dr. Gazda and Principal Nemeth for supporting and believing in our athletes and coaches. Thank you to the Ludlow DPW specifically Nick Axiotis for keeping our fields lined and cut on game days. Thank you to our coaches, coaching is never easy but this year it was even more of a challenge, your commitment to our athletes and keeping them safe is much appreciated. Thank you to our athletic trainer Ashley Mourao for the countless hours spent tracking Covid screenings and doing your best to keep our athletes injury-free. To all of our parents and fans, we understand the importance of watching your athletes play and the sacrifice you made to keep your athletes playing is appreciated, we thank you for your support, understanding, and patience. Thank you to our athletes, the success of the season was a direct result of your commitment and accountability to keeping each other safe. As we move into the holiday season stay positive and safe, remain diligent by wearing your mask, maintaining physical distancing, and washing your hands. Our actions today have an impact on future events, let’s keep our athletes playing.
