Turners Falls, MA – The Ludlow Lions Junior Varsity Boys team beat Franklin County Technical School 76-50 on Friday night. The Lions used a 20-3 run lead in the 2nd quarter to pull away from the Eagles.
The third quarter saw a lot of offense and not much in the way of the defense as both teams were up and down in a quarter that saw a combined 48 points scored.
Freshman, Braeden Schwartz had a game high 21 points for the Lions. Sophomores, Anthony Bourdeau (11 points) and Ben Guerin (10 points) also added to the Lions scoring. Sophomores Sam Abdou (8 points) and Jeff Russell (2 points) played solid all around games for the Lions.
The Lions return home Monday night to take on McCann Technical High School. The Lions beat McCann earlier this year by a score of 67-37 at McCann.
